Dark Souls 3 tracker: an early build

September 2026

Introducing a new tracker for Dark Souls 3: darksouls.krut.top. This is an early build, alpha 0.5.1: the essentials work, but rough edges in the maps and markers are likely, and anything you notice is worth sending through "Feedback".

The save is read in your browser and never leaves it, and the map shows what you have already found: 1002 places across sixteen locations, Ashes of Ariandel and The Ringed City included. That is 78 bonfires, 26 bosses and 898 items, 45 of which drop from enemies.

Dark Souls III has no map of its own, so this one is drawn from the level geometry: the ground you can walk, the storeys stacked above each other, doors, levers, ladders and lifts, and every way out labelled with where it leads. The "where am I" button marks the spot your character is standing on and which way they are facing. The route to a chosen item is measured from there: not a straight line through walls, but the way you can actually walk.

Three days of Pro for subscribing

September 2026

Subscribe to our Telegram news channel and confirm it in the bot: it opens Pro for three days and hands you the Herald badge. No signing into Telegram on this site and no phone number - you press Start inside Telegram, and the bot checks the subscription itself. The button waits on the pricing page and wherever Pro is behind a lock. The reward comes once per person.

Map on your phone

September 2026

Play in full screen and keep the tracker at hand: no windowed mode, no alt-tabbing, no second monitor. Press «Show on phone» on the map, point your phone or tablet camera at the QR code - and the same map opens there, with the same marks. No sign-in on the phone, nothing to install. Keep playing: every time the map gets a fresh save, the phone redraws the marks on its own - with the extension that happens without you touching anything. Only the marks and your position travel to the phone: not the save file, not your Steam ID. The link lives one hour and closes by itself, or you end it sooner from the computer. Part of Pro.

Erdtree Keeper 1.5: not just Elden Ring

September 2026

The app now keeps saves for eight FromSoftware games: Elden Ring, Nightreign, Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition, Dark Souls Remastered, Dark Souls II, Dark Souls III, Sekiro and Armored Core VI. The «+ game» button adds any Steam game: installed games with cloud saves it finds by itself, for the rest you can point at the folder by hand. Every game has its own snapshot folder and its own file, so copies never mix. For Elden Ring the file is checked as before - all 11 checksums.

Updating is now a button: «Updates» in the header asks GitHub about a new version, shows what is in it, downloads the archive and replaces the app files after matching the published checksum. Snapshots and settings are left alone. Going online can be forbidden entirely - then the app works as it always did, without a single request.

Conversations in notifications

September 2026

You can now write to the site admin straight from «Notifications» - the button under the bell. The reply lands in the same conversation, so the question sits next to the answer, like in a messenger. Messages sent through «Report a problem» land here too if you are signed in.

Build lab: full version, free until 24 September

September 2026

The full build lab reads your save and shows the character behind it: progress, collection, remembrances, inventory. Attack rating exactly as the game shows it, every armament ranked against the boss you pick, a set assembled for that target, a sandbox with the whole arithmetic, and a comparison of builds with the price of the move - runes for the respec, stones for the upgrade. Item names and descriptions come from the game itself, in all fifteen of its languages. Until 24 September inclusive it is open to everyone signed in; after that it joins Pro.

Seamless Co-op saves

September 2026

A Seamless Co-op save opens like any other: pick ER0000.co2 where you used to pick ER0000.sl2 - in the upload box on the site and in the browser extension 1.4.0 and newer. The shared playthrough is read in full: markers, quests, what is left to find and your character's build.

One hour of Pro, free

September 2026

Everyone without Pro gets one hour of every tool for free: the build lab, the tools panel, the extension, save watching and co-op. Start it with a button whenever it suits you, and it runs for 60 minutes straight. Once per Steam account: open your own save and confirm the account is yours.

Co-op (beta): test week from 17 to 23 September

September 2026

The map has a new Co-op mode: post a call for help with a boss or an area, see who is playing right now and talk in chat. From 17 to 23 September it runs in test mode - fully open to everyone signed in, free and with no time limit. After that co-op becomes part of Pro, and Steam players keep one free hour. Co-op is in beta: bugs are possible, and fixes will roll out as we go - please report any problems you find.

«Erdtree Keeper» is a free Windows app for Elden Ring saves: it makes snapshots, names each one after where you are in the game and puts any of them back. Handy when a save gets tampered with in online play. Open source, never goes online, no administrator rights.

Map 2.0

September 2026

The tracker has been rebuilt around the map: layers switch on one at a time, «missing only» hides everything you have already collected, search finds an item by name, and the Realm of Shadow is a map of its own with its own progress. The map remembers where you left it, and «follow» keeps it centred on your character.

The save arrives on its own

September 2026

The browser extension hands the fresh save to the open map after every save in the game - you pick the file once. Without one the page cannot re-read the file at all: browsers keep the save folder off limits, and that is the browser's rule, not ours.

Build lab, rating, quests

September 2026

The build lab takes your character straight out of the save and works out damage, equip load and defences, and ranks your weapons against a boss you pick. The rating shows where your build lands against the legendary bosses. The right-hand panel lays out NPC questlines step by step - with a warning before the step that closes one for good - and keeps a list of what you still have left to find.

Map: more bosses and DLC bounds

June 2026

Several more bosses across the Altus Plateau, Caelid and Liurnia are now tracked from your save. The DLC map bounds are fixed and tiles load faster.

Refreshed look

June 2026

The tracker, map and mini-games now share one look: clean dark canvases, an Elden Ring gold accent, light headings and pill buttons. Only the appearance changed - everything works as before.
