Terms of Use

1. What the Service is

1.1. The Service is an unofficial helper tool for the game Elden Ring: an interactive map, lists, save file analysis, a build rating and paid Pro tools.

1.2. The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed or supported by FromSoftware, Inc., Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. or Valve Corporation. Names, trademarks and images related to the game and to Steam belong to their respective owners.

1.3. The Service is not part of the game and does not interfere with how the game works.

2. Account

2.1. Some features are available only with an account. An account can be created with an e-mail address or by signing in through third-party platforms (Google, Yandex, VK, Discord, GitHub and others). When you sign in through a platform, its own rules apply as well; the Administration does not receive your password for that platform.

2.2. The User provides a valid e-mail address and is responsible for keeping their password and access to the sign-in platform safe, and for all actions taken under their account.

2.3. An account is personal: it may not be transferred, sold or given to others to use. Pro access is tied to the account and cannot be transferred separately from it.

2.4. If you are under 18, use the Service and make purchases with the consent of your parents or other legal guardians.

3. Steam ID

The Service uses the Steam account identifier (SteamID) solely and exclusively to link it to the User's account in the Service, and, if the Terms are violated, to restrict access (clause 9).

4. Free and paid features

4.1. The interactive map, save file analysis, the build rating and the link to your own progress are provided free of charge. The Administration may change the set of free features.

4.2. Pro tools are provided for a fee under the terms of the public offer (in Russian). Payment is one-time, with no subscription. Lifetime Pro access means access for as long as the Service operates.

4.3. Free early access to Pro tools (the “beta”) was temporary and does not create any right to further free access.

4.4. The Administration may provide trial access to Pro for a limited time. The terms and duration of trial access are stated in the Service when it is provided; it is not provided a second time.

5. Save file

5.1. The save file is processed in the User's browser and is not sent to the Administration's server. Which information from it reaches the server is described in the Privacy Policy (in Russian).

5.2. The Service only reads the save file and makes no changes to it. Nevertheless, keep backup copies of your saves: the Administration is not responsible for their loss or damage, including damage caused by failures of your computer, the game, the browser or third-party software.

6. Risks

By using the Service, you understand and accept that:

• information on the map, in lists, quests, build calculations and save file analysis may be inaccurate, incomplete or outdated, and game updates may make it wrong;
• save file analysis may be mistaken - it may show something as found when it is not, or the other way round - and after a game update it may stop working temporarily or permanently;
• the browser extension and file watching depend on the browser and the operating system, and their updates may break these features;
• the Service may work with interruptions, be temporarily unavailable or be blocked in certain countries and networks, and progress, settings and other account data may be lost in case of failures;
• sign-in through platforms, payment processing, e-mail delivery and hosting of the Service depend on third parties, and the Administration is not responsible for their unavailability or for changes to their rules;
• decisions of the game's publisher, Steam and other platforms regarding your accounts are beyond the Administration's control;
• information published by other users is not checked by the Administration in advance;
• the Service may be changed, suspended or discontinued.

7. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability

7.1. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, the Administration does not guarantee that the Service will meet the User's expectations or work continuously and without errors, or that the information in it will be accurate and complete.

7.2. To the extent permitted by law, the Administration is not liable for lost profits, indirect damages, or loss of game progress, save files, data or access to third-party platform accounts arising in connection with the use of the Service or the inability to use it.

7.3. To the extent permitted by law, the Administration's total liability to the User is limited to the amount the User has paid for Pro access.

7.4. Nothing in the Terms limits the User's rights as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

8. What is prohibited

• circumventing restrictions on access to Pro and to trial access, including by creating several accounts;
• interfering with the Service: attacking it, overloading it with requests, searching for and exploiting vulnerabilities (if you find a vulnerability, please write to admin@krut.top);
• collecting data from the Service by automated means and using it in other products without the Administration's written permission;
• publishing illegal or offensive content, spam and links to malicious resources in the Service;
• impersonating another person or the Administration.

9. Restriction and termination of access

9.1. If the Terms are violated, the Administration may restrict the account's features or block the account. Refunds in this case follow the rules of the offer and the law.

9.2. If the violation was a circumvention of payment, the restriction may also cover the linked Steam identifier: another account with the same Steam will receive neither paid features, nor linking, nor trial access. The free features of the Service remain open. A restriction is normally preceded by a warning - except for repeated or gross violations.

9.3. The User may stop using the Service at any time and delete their account by writing to admin@krut.top from the address the account is registered to.

9.4. The Administration may discontinue the Service by announcing it on the website at least 30 days in advance.

10. Intellectual property

10.1. The software code, design and texts of the Service belong to the Administration or are used by it lawfully; they may not be copied or distributed without permission.

10.2. By posting information in the Service (for example, a name in the rating), the User allows the Administration to show it to other users free of charge to the extent necessary for the Service to work.

10.3. A rights holder who believes that materials of the Service infringe their rights may write to admin@krut.top.

11. Personal data

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy (in Russian).

12. Changes to the Terms

12.1. The Administration may change the Terms. A new version is published on this page with its number and date.

12.2. When the Terms change, the Service asks registered users to accept the new version; until it is accepted, the account cannot be used. A User who does not agree with the new version may delete their account.

13. Governing law and disputes

13.1. The Terms are governed by the law of the Russian Federation.

13.2. Claims are sent to admin@krut.top; the response time is 30 days. A dispute that could not be settled is resolved in court in the manner established by the law of the Russian Federation.
